First day of dogs trust!
Hurt myself playing roller derby over the summer (I still can’t
play) it’s hurting a bit now and I am a bit worried about it
getting worse with the all the dogs!
In my first day after all of the health and safety things and the
usual showing of where things are I got put on the training block.
That is the
block at the very back of the dogs home that is off limits from the public and
houses the dogs that need a little bit of training before they can be adopted.
Not allowed to walk any of the dogs on here as I am not staff but I was allowed
to walk with them then they were walked and they reacted well, gave me a good
chance to get to know some of the people I will be working with for the next
year.
We had a break at 10.30 for half an hour and then lunch at 12.30
for an hour; I’m not used to breaks at all with my normal waitressing job so it
is a shock! We were closed to the public today so will be different tomorrow!
